I feel like the title perfectly fits this anime more than I had expected it to. Coming up on this piece I really didn't know what to think of it, it was quite peculiar but after watching the first episode everything immediately starts to make sense and you see the connection with the title and the anime. From the fight scenes, to just regular moments in the anime there's always a moment of laughter to be captured. A dragon that's an herbivore and a girl that's insanely delusional, this piece is pretty much backwards from what you would see from your everyday dragon slaying, sacrificial anime shows. Overall it's wholesome and worth watching.

Even though it is a promising show it is confusing. Like in the first scene it just shows a little girl saying she wanted a dragon to eat her with no explanation. The title matches the show though, it is about a herbivorous dragon. I rate this a 4/10 because if how the movie begins and how the beginning has no explanation to it. It also can get a little confusing during the first episode of it. The show would be better if it had a better beginning and explanation. The good part about this anime is it had some laughter and it was delusional, this anime is different from regular dragon anime you would see.

The first episode was mediocre at best; unentertaining and somewhat disappointing, at worst. I understood very little of what was going on, as well as the contents of the first episode; this dragon awakens, and a girl is suddenly offered up to be used as a sacrifice? Not only is it underwhelming, but it's also not what you'd expect from an anime of its title. The villagefolk are too willing to offer the girl up - it would've been expected for them to have at least put up some sort of fight to keep the girl with them. Not only that; the dragon is too cowardly for being 5,000 years old, which cancels out the ideology of the dragon's myth.

I honestly didn't understand what happening most of the time. Wasn't that entertaining and lost my attention pretty fast. I believe that a more practical title for this anime would be "Psychotic dragon and dumb kid scare humans and make themselves out to be evil: also the dragon is 5,000 years old." Animation was good, plot was typical. Generally cheesy. Overall a decent show, little informative essentials that would create a structure for the plot. Normally a pilot episode would introduce character, world building, and a slight backstory. This lacked that base that is needed for the general understanding of the show, not engaging enough to keep a viewer engaged for long periods of time. This show seems to be aimed towards a more teenage viewing audience, although due to the themes and other parts put together to create this show, such as the 'chibi' style used in some scenes to represent emotions, this should be a show for kids. In conclusion, I would not recommend this show.
