20min Walk from Nishi-Ogikubo Station, 2 Bedrooms, Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, 2mos Deposit, No Pets Allowed is like an anime version of The Metamorphosis, but more literal, because the woman who turns into a bug ends up being a bug-sized bug. Her clothing doesn't shrink either, and she doesn't realize she's a bug. Then her boyfriend just sees a cockroach and starts trying to murder her.

It's fun for an ultra-simple and straight-to-the-point short film, and the animation is nice and stories about shrinking people are always fun. There's some fun seeing mundane things from a weird perspective, but I feel like it was missing an animal reacting to the bug. Oh well, I guess that weirdly long title does tell you right from the get-go that there aren't going to be any pets involved, sadly.
