Israel Air Force (IAF) fighter jets attacked Hezbollah terrorist targets in southern Lebanon overnight, the IDF announced Thursday morning.

Fighter jets attacked multiple key parts of Hezbollah's infrastructure, including military structures and three terrorist infrastructure locations in the Balat region in southern Lebanon.

IDF announces name of fallen soldier

Captain Roy Miller, aged 21 from Herzliya, and Platoon Commander in the Rotem Battalion of the Givati Brigade fell in combat in the northeastern Gaza Strip, the IDF announced Thursday morning. 

His parents have been notified.

In the same incident, an additional soldier and officer from the Givati Brigade were severely wounded and evacuated for medical treatment.
