When you’re the child of a famous actress, attending Balenciaga’shaute couture showin Paris is apparently just another weekday night. The kids of Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman both scored invites to Wednesday’s show during Paris Fashion Week, sitting in the front row alongside their mothers. Watts brought 15-year-old Kai, whom she shares with ex-partner Liev Schreiber, while Kidman brought her daughter Sunday Rose, who is also 15.
Watts wore a white set with shoulder pads and matching gloves, while Kai looked unbothered in a black lace dress and sunglasses. Though Watts separated from Kai’s dad in 2016,accordingto theDaily Mailthe pair are reportedly committed to co-parenting Kai and her older sibling, Alexander, who is 16. (If you ask me, it’s going to be tough for Schreiber to compete for parent of the year against the woman snagging front-row seats at a Balenciaga show.) Kidman, who is a Balenciaga ambassador, and Sunday Rose alsocoordinatedtheir looks, both in turtlenecked black dresses: Kidman in a sparkly monochrome number, her daughter in a shorter velvet long-sleeved version, perUs Weekly.
Both famous kids are no strangers to red carpets or the high-fashion scene. Watts and Kai made an appearance at the Dior show together in April of this year, while Sunday Rose and her 13-year-old sister, Faith, made their red-carpet debuts at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala in Los Angeles the same month. I guess it’s hard to avoid the limelight when your parents are constantly receiving awards, but I’m not worried. These kids were literally born for this.
