Motivation

[edit]

The KISTI institute ID is a unique identifier for research institutes in Korea, issued by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI). KISTI provides highly reliable data, but currently, there is no property in Wikidata for this identifier. To improve the accuracy of information on Korean institutes and enable better data integration, I propose the creation of a property for the KISTI institute ID. This property will help connect Korean institutes to global databases, facilitating more comprehensive academic data management.The precedingunsignedcomment was added byKISTI Data(talkcontribs) at05:43, 20 September 2024 (UTC).[reply]

How to populate

[edit]

@KISTI Data,Samoasambia,Printstream,ZI Jony:

  • Is there a master page or dump?
  • How many records?
  • How to populate this property?

Looking at the third example, there are a lot of IDs that can be used for linking, so hopefully we won't even have to use Mix-n-Match:

  • Wikidata Q623863
  • Crossref funder 10.13039/501100003696
