Recently, Federation of Asian and Oceanian Biochemists and Molecular Biologists(FAOBOB) announced the winner list of the 2024 FAOBMB Award for Research Excellence. Dr. Chen Lingling, a fellow at the Center for Excellence in Molecular Cell Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and an alumna of LZU wins the award.
Dr. Chen Lingling has long been engaged in research on RNA biology, making significant contribution to the discovery of the novel family of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) and its functions, the circular RNA processing and functional analysis as well as the structure and function of nuclear bodies.
