Bank of China Ctrip Credit Card

Introduction

Bank of China and Ctrip International, Ltd. jointly issued Bank of China Ctrip Credit Card, a unique co-branded card for comprehensive tourism services. The card, as a standard Bank of China Credit Card, not only offers basic functions and services of its kind, but provides specific tourism services by Ctrip, China's largest business and vacation service company, so that customers can enjoy more privileges while travelling in China and other parts of the world.

Functions

As a dual-currency Visa credit card under the international standards, Bank of China Ctrip Credit Card offers the basic functions and services of a standard Bank of China Credit Card, including payment after consumption, minimum payment amount and other revolving credit functions as well as cash advance, installment, global merchant discounts, reward points and so on, fully satisfying customer need for consumption and wealth management. In addition, the card offers multiple measures including SMS reminder, optional password verified card payment and zero risk loss report to protect the card safety.

1. Two-in-one card

Only by filling out an application form, customers can complete application for Bank of China Credit Card and membership of Ctrip. With just one card, customers can enjoy the superb services provided by Bank of China and Ctrip. By Ctrip card number, customers can reserve all Ctrip products and enjoy various discounts and services at more than 8,000 preferential merchants of Bank of China.

2. Double points, multiple rewards

Purchasing Ctrip products with Bank of China Ctrip Credit Card will earn points from both Bank of China and Ctrip. For points from Bank of China, the accumulation rules are in line with the general point accumulation rules of the bank. And for points from Ctrip, it is 1.5 times for telephone reservation and 2.5 times for online reservation, and even more for VIP members and higher.

3. Point redemption

Points of Bank of China Ctrip Credit Card can be redeemed not only for all gifts under Bank of China's "Reward Points 365" program, but also for Crtip points at the ratio of 4:1. Namely, every redemption should be handled with multiples of 2,000 Ctrip points (8,000 Bank of China points).

4. Services at preferential merchants

With Bank of China Ctrip Credit Card, customers can enjoy privileges at preferential merchants of Bank of China and Ctrip. Besides more than 8,000 preferential merchants of Bank of China in China, Ctrip has selected more than 3,000 preferential merchants in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu and other major cities in China, covering catering (restaurants, coffee houses, tea houses and snack bars), entertainment (bars, DISCO, KTV and internet bars), fitness (skating, rock climbing, shooting, bowling and swimming), shopping (department stores and designer-label stores), daily life (car rental and repair) and many other fields. Cardholders can enjoy VIP privilege discounts and preferences at these merchants.

5. High amount of flight insurance

Without any other procedures or fees, customers can be covered by flight accident insurance of up to RMB 2 million, flight delay insurance of RMB 1,000, and luggage loss insurance of RMB 1,000 by purchasing air tickets or paying more than 80% of tourist group expenses with the card.

Target Customers

Chinese citizens aged 18 or older, with full capacity for civil conduct and legitimate stable income, foreigners with Residence Permit in China and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, can apply for Bank of China Ctrip Credit Card at the local branch.

Procedure

The following documents are required for card application:

1. Identity documents: Bank of China accepts the principal card applicants aged between 18 and 65 and supplementary card applicants aged 16 or older.

For domestic residents: a copy of valid ID card or interim ID card (both sides), or military ID card;

For foreign nationals:

① Valid passport;

② Copy of Residence Permit for Foreigners, or copy of Residence Permit for Foreigners attached on the visa page in the passport or copy of Permanent Residence Permit for Foreigners;

For citizens from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan: a copy of Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents, Hong Kong and Macau Compatriot Home-visiting Permit or Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents.

2. Evidence of permanent residence: (Any of the items below)

Copy of the Hukou card (book);

The water, electricity and gas payment voucher of the latest three periods;

The fixed-line telephone payment voucher of the latest three periods;

Dormitory evidence issued by the employer;

House Lease Contract (Agreement);

Self-owned property certificate;

Payment voucher for residential property management fee;

Residence certificate issued by the community office;

Credit card statements for the latest two months or the individual income tax payment certificate for the latest three months;

Other supporting documents which can testify to the permanent residential address.

3. Financial status documents: (Any of the items below)

Regular payroll or income proof of the latest three months issued by governmental institutions or enterprises (company seal or department seal required);

Copy of passbook/statement for agency salary payment issued by the agent bank (with salary information of the latest three months);

Copy of individual income tax payment certificates for the latest three months;

Copy of withholding certificate for social security payment;

Copy of self-owned property certificate;

Copy of certificate/passbook of bank time deposit and current deposit;

Copy of purchase certificate for fund, T-bond and corporate bond (with the buyer's name, account number and account balance);

Copy of membership cards and the like, including: golf membership card, China Mobile/China Unicom VIP card, Air China platinum card, gold and silver membership cards, China Southern Sky Pearl gold and silver membership cards, Eastern Miles Club gold and silver membership cards and so on. (with cardholder name and validity of the card).
