Bank of China and Beijing Xidan Joy City Shopping Mall jointly issued Bank of China-Joy City Co-Branded Card, a department store co-branded card for members of the Joy City shopping mall and customers with certain consumption capacity in Beijing Financial Street and Xidan business circles. Besides the basic functions and services of a standard Bank of China Credit Card, the card also provides customers with various value-added services, including Joy City membership services, exciting reward points and exclusive discounts.

Functions
As an RMB credit card under the international standards, Bank of China-Joy City Co-Branded Card offers the basic functions and services of a standard Bank of China Credit Card, including payment after consumption, grace period and minimum payment amount and other revolving credit functions, as well as cash advance, installment plan, exclusive global merchant discounts, reward points and so on, fully satisfying customers' need for consumption and wealth management. In addition, the card offers multiple measures including SMS reminder, optional password verified card payment and zero risk loss report to protect the card safety.
Features
1. Worldwide acceptance
The card can be used on the POS machine and ATMs marked with the UnionPay logo in China's Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, United States, Germany and other countries and regions. Shopping with Bank of China-Joy City Co-branded Card abroad or cash withdrawal on the ATMs marked with the UionPay logo are free of currency exchange fee.
2. Two-in-one card with super value Joy City membership
Just by filling out an application form, customers can apply for Bank of China-Joy City Co-Branded Card and Joy City membership card at the same time. With the Bank of China-Joy City Co-Branded Card, customers can enjoy multiple services including payment, reward points and discounts for consumption in Joy City.
3. Double reward points
After making payment with a Bank of China-Joy City Co-Branded Card in Joy City, customers can earn both reward points from the bank and membership reward points from Joy City, and can enjoy at least 10% discount at designated merchants in the shopping mall, as well as other wonderful rewards for members.
4. SMS prompts
Bank of China offers SMS prompt services for the customers of Bank of China-Joy City Co-Branded Card, including real-time transaction notification, direct debit reminder, unusual transaction confirmation as well as information of sales promotions.
Target Customers
Chinese citizens aged 18 or older with full capacity for civil conduct and stable legitimate income, foreigners with Residence Permit in China and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, can apply for Bank of China-Joy City Co-Branded Card at the local branch.
Process
The following documents are required for card application:
1. Identity documents:
For domestic residents: a copy of valid ID card or interim ID card (both sides), or military ID card;
- For foreign nationals:
① Valid passport;
② Copy of Residence Permit for Foreigners, or copy of "Residence Permit for Foreigners" attached to the page of visa in the passport or copy of Permanent Residence Permit for Foreigners;
- For citizens from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan:
a copy of Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents, or Hong Kong and Macau Compatriot Home-visiting Permit or Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents.
2. Evidence of permanent residence: (Any of the items below )
Copy of the Hukou card (book);
The water, electricity and gas payment voucher of the latest three periods;
The fixed-line telephone payment voucher of the latest three periods;
Dormitory evidence issued by the employer;
House Lease Contract (Agreement);
Self-owned property certificate;
Payment voucher of residential property management fees;
Residence certificate issued by the community office;
Credit card statements for the latest two months or the individual income tax payment certificate for the latest three months;
Other supporting documents which can testify to the permanent residential address.
3. Financial status documents: (Any of the items below)
Regular payroll or income documents of the latest three months issued by governmental institutions or enterprises (company seal or department seal required);
Copy of passbook/statement for agency salary payment issued by the agent bank (with salary information of the latest three months);
Copy of individual income tax payment certificates for the latest three months;
Copy of withholding certificate for social security payment;
Copy of self-owned property certificate;
Copy of certificate/passbook of bank time deposit and current deposit;
Copy of purchase certificate for fund, T-bond and corporate bond (with the buyer's name, account number and account balance);
Copies of membership cards and the like, including: golf membership card, China Mobile, China Unicom VIP card, Air China Platinum, gold and silver membership cards, China Southern Sky Pearl gold and silver membership cards, Eastern Miles Club gold and silver membership cards and so on. (with cardholder name and validity of the card).
