Klaus Rostell, Maritime Counsellor at the Embassy of Denmark, said that China's shipbuilding technology continues to improve. He was deeply impressed by China's continuous development and progress in the fields of shipbuilding and green technology and he optimistically stated that Denmark and China have vast opportunities for maritime cooperation.

The two countries are indeed expected to further deepen their cooperation in green shipbuilding and achieving the global shipping emission reduction goals set by the International Maritime Organization, said Rostell.

At Jiangnan Shipyard Group, diplomats visited the exhibition hall, the digital shipbuilding laboratory, and civil ship projects under construction such as large container ships and car carriers.

They also visited a large LNG carrier at China's shipbuilder Hudong-Zhonghua, as well as China's first domestic large-scale cruise ship "the Adora Magic City."
