On July 10, around 300 Macao high school students from Our Lady of Fatima Girls' School, Escola Secundária Luso-Chinesa de Luís Gonzaga Gomes, Instituto Salesiano, and Colégio Mateus Ricci embarked on a study tour to the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.
The students visited several key enterprises, allowing them to gain a thorough understanding of the latest industry developments and dynamics within the cooperation zone.
Co-organized by the Livelihood Affairs Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ), and the Macau Youth Development Service Centre, the series of study tours, since April this year, have already seen 11 batches of students, with nearly 2,000 Macao high school freshmen from 20 different schools.
This study tour not only offered students an opportunity to learn about the development of the cooperation zone through on-site visits but also facilitated face-to-face exchanges with young Macao professionals working in Hengqin. These interactions aim to provide valuable insights for the student's future personal development planning.
